<p> <strong>TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE HOTEL EXHIBITOR ONLINE ORDERING</strong></p>
<p>When ordering from this site, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. If you do not wish to become bound by these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this site. <strong>TELECOMMUNICATIONS</strong><br /> </p>
<ol>
<li>Customer agrees not to resell, extend or misuse the connections or services.</li>
<li>Notification of cancellations must be received 1 week prior to the specified set up date.</li>
<li>Orders must be received 1 week prior to the setup date to guarantee availability of services.</li>
<li>Credit will not be given for service installed and not used. Services cancelled prior to install may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.</li>
<li>All Long Distance telephone calls are charged at the AT&T operator dial business day rate plus 45%. A local call is $2.00 and a 800/877/855/866 call is $2.00 in addition to the $0.10 per minute after 60 minutes. Applies to all local, 800/88, calling card, credit card, collect, third party calls and calls made through other common carriers (950/10xx).</li>
<li>Hotel reserves the right to terminate or disconnect services due to abuse or misuse.</li>
<li>Hotel is not responsible for any equipment or cabling provided by the client or third party.</li>
<li>Hotel is not liable for any service disruptions of any kind. Good faith and best efforts will be made to resolve with all parties.</li>
<li>Customer agrees to be responsible for full payment. This includes costs of calls for telephone services ordered.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>ELECTRICAL SERVICES</strong> District of Columbia Code requires that no electrical equipment or apparatus be connected unless it conforms to its electrical code. Hotel will supply electrician to correct any minor infractions at stated labor cost. WIRING REGULATIONS BASED ON THE ELECTRICAL CODE OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA</p>
<ul>
<li>All electrical apparatus and splices must be installed in a metal enclosure to prevent emission of sparks</li>
<li>All metal raceways. Metal lighting fixtures, metal housings of electrically powered equipment shall be grounded.</li>
<li>All extension cables shall be 3-wire SJ cord or other approved type and not more than 20 ft. long. One of the wires with green colored insulation is to be used as a ground. Cable must be large enough for the load and have grounded male plug.</li>
<li>Flexible cords and cables less than No. 14 gauge wire shall not be permitted.</li>
</ul>
<p>Service Order Information<br /> </p>
<ol>
<li>Payment and credit card information for service must accompany service request.</li>
<li>Date payment is received shall determine the penalty rate of $75.00.</li>
<li>Incomplete information regarding hook-up or power requirement will delay processing.</li>
<li>Booth number(s) must be identified on face of form.</li>
<li>If third party billing is required, service contract must include company name c/o display house. Display house and address and contact name must be indicated on service contract. Payment Policy will apply.</li>
<li>Credit will not be given for electrical service installed and not used. Services cancelled prior to installation will be subject to cancellation fee of 25% of balance.</li>
<li>Claims will not be considered unless filed by exhibitor prior to close of exposition at HOTEL service desk. Non receipt of service must be reported to HOTEL service prior to close of the day for verification and consideration.</li>
<li>Unpaid balances are subject to past due penalties</li>
<li>Returned checks will be subject to a $25.00 fee plus a $50.00 late fee.</li>
</ol>
<p>Important Rules and Regulations</p>
<ol>
<li>No one other than HOTEL electricians can make any electrical connections or install/remove cable or fixtures. Please consult HOTEL personnel for additional information.</li>
<li>Unless otherwise noted, all material and equipment furnished by the HOTEL for services shall remain the property of the HOTEL and shall be removed only by the HOTEL at the closing.</li>
<li>Permanent building utility outlets are not part of the booth space and are not to be used by exhibitors</li>
<li>Use of open clip sockets, latex or lamp cord wire, duplex or triplex attachment plugs in exhibits is prohibited</li>
<li>All exhibitors’ cords must be of three-wired type. All exposed noncurrent-carrying metal parts of fixed equipment which are liable to be energized, shall be grounded.</li>
<li>All electrical equipment must be properly tagged and wired with complete information as to type of current, voltage, phase, cycle, horsepower, etc.</li>
<li>Electrical power for lights and displays will be turned on one hour prior to show opening and turned off at show closing.</li>
<li>Unless otherwise directed, HOTEL installers are authorized to cut floor coverings to permit installation of services.</li>
<li>For voltage fluctuations or power failure the HOTEL is not responsible for temporary conditions.</li>
<li>A standby electrician is required (for requests of 200amps or more) during set-up, teardown, and actual event times. See under “Special Items” on first page for labor charges.</li>
</ol>
<p>Voltage Requirements Alternating current only. (Current available, single phase 60 cycle approximately 115 Volts, single phase 60 cycle approximately 208 Volts, 3 phase 60 cycle approximately 220 Volts.) Please indicate amperes per phase leg; voltage, and number of phase required. All prices for equipment and labor quoted are subject to change. <strong>AUDIO VISUAL</strong><br /> </p>

<p>Liability and Insurance</p>
<p><strong> The Hotel will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to the exhibitor, the exhibitor’s employees or property on both or to any other person, prior during, or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit contract, provided said injury, loss or damage is not caused by the hotel. Each exhibitor expressly releases the hotel from such liabilities and agrees to indemnify the hotel against any and all claims for such injury, loss or damage. Exhibitors who wish to carry insurance on their exhibits must place it at their own expense. All terms, conditions, rules, regulations and pricing are non-negotiable.</strong></p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Commercial Use of Information</span></strong></p>
<p>Washington Hilton will not sell or share the Information with third parties for any commercial purposes without your consent and express agreement. Washington Hilton may, however, use the Information in order to share generic, collective, group, or other non-identifying information about the use of Washington Hilton’s products and services as part of commercial transactions with third parties to help Washington Hilton improve its products and services or for any other lawful purpose.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Third-Party Service Providers</span></strong></p>
<p>Washington Hilton may use third-party service providers and vendors to assist Washington Hilton in providing its products and services to you and others, including, without limitation, services to host Washington Hilton’s Software Services, Storefronts, payment processes, and other services pursuant to the Agreement. Washington Hilton may also use third-party service providers and vendors to store Information and other data. Any such third parties would have access to your Information for the limited purpose of assisting, as reasonably necessary, Washington Hilton in providing Software Services and other services pursuant to the Agreement.</p>
<p>Washington Hilton may disclose your Information as Washington Hilton reasonably believes is required by court order, governmental directive, or other law, to protect the rights of Washington Hilton, or as otherwise allowed pursuant to the Agreement or applicable law.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Information Protection</span></strong></p>
<p>Washington Hilton will retain, protect, and process the Information and underlying or related data using commercially reasonable practices. Although Washington Hilton will undertake such efforts to preserve and protect the integrity of the Information, you acknowledge and agree that all security measures have potential risks.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Customer Control of Collected Data</span></strong></p>
<p>You may decline to provide or submit Information to us, however, some of our Software Services, Storefronts, or other services may not be available to you if you choose not to provide or submit Information. You also have a right to access the Information that we hold (about you) upon reasonable written request.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Updates to our Policy</span></strong></p>
<p>By entering into the Agreement or the Acknowledgment or by using our products or services, you consent to the collection and use of your Information by us consistent with this Policy and the Agreement. We may change this Policy from time to time, for any reason. Any such changes become effective when posted.</p>
<p>To the extent that this Policy is inconsistent with applicable law, it is the intent of Washington Hilton to comply with applicable law. If there is any conflict between any provision of this Policy and applicable law, such applicable law shall prevail; provided, however, that any such conflicting provision in this Policy shall be curtailed and limited only to the extent necessary to bring it within the legal requirements and the remainder of this Policy shall not be affected thereby.</p>
